Background and problem

Why This Workflow Exists

Keyword mining is grunt work: with many apps and markets, and intelligence sources that don't talk to each other, one manual pass takes hours. Worse, unverified keywords get dumped into the account and only prove irrelevant after the money is spent.

Before this workflow
  • The judgement lived in someone's head — only the person doing it knew the standard
  • At volume you could only spot-check, and what slipped through usually surfaced at reconciliation
  • Every repeat meant reading it all again from the top — nothing accumulated
Now
  • The standard is written into 4 steps — everyone reads the same one
  • Everything is checked item by item, no sampling; every run leaves a record you can go back to
  • 1 steps stop and wait for a person; reject or let it time out and not a single value changes
Execution

How This Workflow Runs

Trigger ModeScheduled trigger; the discovery phase runs unattended
batch_discovery
The discovery pipeline mines candidate keywords for multiple apps in bulk, read-only throughout
cross_reference
The expansion pipeline cross-checks 4 intelligence sources to validate candidate quality
propose_additions
Generates a capped list of keywords to add
approve_additionsHUMAN
New keywords enter the ad account only after human approval
